diy Elbow Patches

With Fall being around the corner, my DIY brain has been working overtime. The one thing that I have been stuck on for a while though is Elbow Patches. Yes those horrible things back when we were kids that seemed to be on our denim long sleeve shirts or in my case that thing your mom used to cover up holes. When I was young, I hated elbow patches, now that I am older, I love them. Now I don't love them so much that I would put them on every sweater/cardigan I own, but I do love them enough to have a few in my closet for when the weather drops. My DIY inspiration picks? Earth tone colors with either suede or leather elbow patches, and maybe a bright cardigan with black/ black leather elbow patches.
